Ray Faller, Secretary

Ray Faller has been the Chief Public Defender for Hamilton County, Ohio, since August 1, 2012.

He is a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law and was in private practice for 30 years prior to taking over the Public Defender position. While in private practice, he accepted court appointments for clients facing criminal charges in both state and federal courts.

In addition to being admitted to practice in all courts in Ohio, he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Ray is most proud of the fact that his office opened its Fresh Start expungement clinic in the fall of 2013.
